Guild releases list of authors for Northern Ontario Book Fair


Timmins, ON. The Silverleaf Writer’s Guild is excited to announce the line-up of authors for this summer’s inaugural Northern Ontario Book Fair. The fair, running concurrent with the Stars & Thunder Festival in Timmins, will take place at Gillies Lake between noon and 10 p.m. from June 24 to July 1, 2017.

Authors that will be participating include:
– Bryan Davies and Andrew Traficante, authors of A Boy from Botwood
– Kevin Vincent, author of Bootleg Gold (Volumes 1 and 2)
– Davis Dewsbury, creator of the Auric of the North comic book series
– Frank Giorno, author of four poetry volumes, including My Nation is a Train…Wreck and MoPoPoMo Variations
– Richard Buell, author of more than a dozen books including The Glory of Our Game (Volumes 1 and 2) and A CENTimental Journey.

The Silverleaf Writers Guild will also be selling their own book, Thinking Toque: Writing Prompts for the North.

Community members, concert-goers and firework watchers are encouraged to stop by the Northern Ontario Book Fair to support literary arts in the region. Attendees will be able to purchase products, speak directly with authors, and learn about the Silverleaf Writers Guild’s services.
